Editing Social Media Flyers
Once you log in to your SpotHopper account, find the auto-generated flyer you wish to edit on the "Facebook Posts" or "Instagram Posts" page under "Marketing."
In the upper right corner of the image, you will see an "Edit Flyer" button.
Clicking this will open the flyer editor.
From there, you can:
1. Change the flyer's theme color.
2. Custpmize the text (headline copy).
3. Choose a different font.
4. Change the text color.
5. Replace image(s). If you hover over an image, you will see the "Replace" option. Clicking the image will allow you to choose another one from your gallery or upload a new image.
If you're satisfied with your changes, don't forget to click the "Save" button in the upper right corner. You also have "Undo" and "Redo" options, as well as a "Reset to Default" button if you wish to go back to the original template.
Editing Social Media Videos
Log in to your SpotHopper account, and find the auto-generated social media video you want to edit on the "Facebook Posts" or "Instagram Posts" page under "Marketing."
Click the "Edit Video" button.
That will open the Video Editor.
From there, you can:
1. Change the theme color.
2. Customize the text (both headline and supporting copy).
3. Choose a different font for the main and supporting text.
4. Change the text color.
5. Adjust the volume of the video.
6. Change the background video (if available). Some videos allow you to replace the background video—just hover over the background video icon and select "Replace." You can then upload a new video in MP4 or MOV format to use in your reel or story.
7. Preview your video. As you make changes in the editor, you’ll see a live preview of your updated video on the right side of the screen.
If you're satisfied with your changes, click the "Save" button in the upper-right corner. You also have "Undo" and "Redo" options, as well as a "Reset to Default" button if you wish to go back to the original template.
The video editor allows you to edit each scene individually. If your video has multiple scenes, you can switch between them and customize each one separately.
⚠️ Social media flyers and videos are automatically generated by the platform. While you can totally customize and modify them, you cannot make flyers/videos from scratch.
Editing Flyers/Videos on the Calendar Page
In addition to editing the flyers/videos from the Facebook and Instagram preview pages, you can also do it directly from your Home calendar page.
Find a flyer/video you wish to edit on the calendar.
Click the card to expand its details on the right side of the screen. From there, select the Flyer/Video tab at the top, or click Edit Video or Edit Flyer located beneath the preview to open the editor.
