How to Add a Reservation Taken Outside the App

Need to manually add a phone, in-person, or email reservation? Here's how to do it directly through the Waitlist & Table Management App.

  • Open the Waitlist & Tables App
    Log into your SpotHopper account and go to:
    Apps > Waitlist & Tables App
    You can use the app in your web browser or download it from the App Store.

  • Go to the Reservations tab
    Tap the Reservations tab to view and manage all upcoming bookings.

  • Tap the “+” icon
    Use the plus (+) icon (usually in the top corner) to add a new reservation.

  • Find a table

    • Select the number of guests

    • Choose a reservation date and time

    • Pick a seating preference (Inside or Outside)

    • Tap Find a Table

  • Add guest info

    • Name

    • Phone number

    • Email (optional)

    • Notes (optional): include details like dietary restrictions, birthdays, or VIP status

  • Confirm the reservation
    Once all details are filled in, tap Confirm Reservation


Where It Appears

  • In the app’s Reservations tab

  • In your SpotHopper Calendar

  • On the main Reservations dashboard in SpotHopper

Pro Tip

Use the Notes field to personalize guest experiences—highlight birthdays, allergies, or high-priority guests for your staff.
