Standard Responses (Legacy Feature)
Set up and manage Standard Responses for Party and Catering inquiries on the old Inquiry Details page.
Standard Responses are part of the old Inquiry Details page.
On the new and updated Inquiry Details page, this feature has been replaced with:
- Template Responses (pre-written responses similar to Standard Responses)
- AI-Generated Responses (automatically generated, unique replies)
These new tools are:
✔️ Available to all users on the New Inquiry Details page
✔️ More flexible and faster to use
✔️ Not dependent on the Event Planner upgrade
Recommended: Use the new Inquiry Details page for improved workflow and functionality. Template Responses allow you to fully customize and pre-write replies, just like Standard Responses on the previous version of the page.
If you are using the old Inquiry Details page and your package includes Event Planner, you can respond to Party or Catering inquiries using your pre-written Standard Responses.

How to Set Them Up
- From the left-hand sidebar, select either "Party/Group Inquiries" or "Catering Inquiries."

On that page, click the Settings tab at the top.

- Scroll down to the Standard Responses section of the page.

Select a response type to customize your Standard Response:
- All Set
- Ask for Confirmation
- Send Info
- Ask for Info
- Decline
- Offer Alternative
Each response type includes a default message. Customize the template as needed, then save your changes.
- Attach files to your Standard Responses to provide additional information (such as menus, packages, or pricing). This helps streamline communication and reduces the need for follow-up messages.

- Set how the inquiry status should update when a specific Standard Response is used.

- Use Placeholder Variables to save time and ensure accuracy in your responses. These automatically pull in customer and inquiry details, helping you respond faster without manually rechecking information.
