Birthday Club
1. Navigate to the "Bday Club/Incentives" page under the "Sales & Inquiries" tab.
2. Immediately, you will have an overview of you active "Incentives" - including Birthday Club at the top.
Note: While the Birthday Club incentive is the same as other incentives, the discount code and QR Code customers receive are only valid the week of their birthday.
3. After selecting the "Edit" button to the right side of the "Birthday Club" section at the top of the screen, you will then see the following screen where you can edit your offer, minimum order amount, the offer valid time frame to redeem, and what the offer is valid for.
SpotHopper is not currently expanding our incentive offerings, so the "promote this incentive through" section seen in the picture above is not yet valid.
• Birthday Club can only be promoted through QR Code Fliers and your contactless menu.
• Regular incentives can only be promoted through your contactless menu.
Other Incentives
Incentives allow you to offer your customers a free coupon when they scan your contactless QR Code Menu. This is the only way that customers can currently redeem incentives.
1. Access this QR Code either through a number of options on the "QR Code Flyers" tab or in your "Menus" tab.

2. First, choose which incentive you would like to run. Each one of these incentives are customizable to fit your needs.
3. To configure an incentive, make sure it is checked Active and press Edit.
Note: Once the incentive has expanded, you will be able to determine exactly what you are offering. Whether a specific dollar amount or a free item, you have complete customization of the exact coupon.
4. If you don't see an offer that you want to promote on the "Bday Club/Incentives" tab, click on an existing offer, and then click "Edit" on the "Other on your next visit" section in the dropdown menu to create a custom incentive.
Configure the offer as you see fit by clicking into the "Offer" dropdown menu.
You can then fill out the rest of the form, including:
- The minimum order amount
- When the offer expires
- How to promote it and what it is valid for
- Note: Incentives that offer a specific dollar amount off their next order may be redeemed through online ordering.
5. Your customers can sign up for incentives using any QR Code flier that includes your contactless menu QR code. When they scan the QR Code, a header will appear for them to submit their email address and phone number to receive the incentive, or sign up for the Birthday Club.
Note: Anyone who has redeemed the incentive will receive a QR code and a discount code immediately (via email from support@spothopperapp.com) upon signing up.
- If the customer chooses to redeem the code in person, they are able to present to QR code to their server. The QR code may be scanned by any smartphone. Once the QR Code is scanned, you will be able to see which coupon it is, and when it is valid.
- Your customers are also able to submit the text discount code at the checkout for online ordering (if configured).
- You can see who has redeemed their coupon code in the "Customers" tab on the top of the page, adjacent to Incentives.
- From the "Customers" page, you have the ability to "Send Email Reminder" via the green buttons on the right.
How do Customers View Their Incentive/Bday Club Offer?
After signing up for an incentive or bday club offering, your customers will receive a personal QR code and a promo code via email.

Once the customer's QR code is scanned (by any smartphone camera) or the discount code is redeemed, the incentive will then show as redeemed.
Tip: Customer can't find their incentive or bday club email? Request them to search 'spothopper' or your restaurant name in all of their email boxes and they should find it.
