Reviewing and Editing Instagram/Facebook Posts

1. To edit your Instagram and Facebook posts, go to the corresponding tab under the "Marketing" cluster on the left side of the screen.


Here, you can preview, edit and approve all posts that are generated throughout the platform and added to your Instagram/Facebook tabs.


2. To edit any post, click the edit pencil on the top right corner of a post.

There, you can edit the photo, the description, and the time/date the post is scheduled for. You can even upload a new photo from there.

3. If you don't like a caption, click the "More Post Ideas" button at the bottom of the post and your restaurant-specific AI will create a new caption that fits that specific post based on the text that was previously there!

    Note: Posts about specials can be rescheduled only for different times within the same day. This way you are not posting wrong daily offers.


    Approving Instagram/Posts

    1. Stay on the same 'Instagram' Facebook’ or ‘X’ tab under your ‘Marketing Channels’ cluster
    2. Screen Shot 2019-08-28 at 5.49.44 PMCheck if you have clicked the box marked “Approve social media posts first”at the top of the page. If you have, that means posts will not go out without your permission. If you haven’t checked the box, then every post you generate in SpotHopper will go out automatically.

    3. Under each post, you will see a red 'x,' a green heart, and a yellow light bulb. This is where things get interesting thanks to the help of Artificial Intelligence.


        1. To approve a post, click the green heart, and the post will be scheduled to go live. The top of each post notifies you whether it is active and at what time it will be posted.
        2. To delete a post, just click the red 'x,' and the post will be deleted from the dashboard.
        3. To leverage the power of restaurant-specific AI, click the "More Post Ideas" lightbulb button. Watch the platform go to work, using your original text and writing up a fun, witty post to engage your audience. Watch this video to see more.

    Warning: If you have "Approve each post first" checked, then you must re-approve your posts after editing them.
