Reviewing Scheduled Posts
Log in to your SpotHopper account and navigate to the "Instagram Posts" or "Facebook Posts" page under the "Marketing" tab.

Here, you’ll see a list of your upcoming social media posts, displayed in chronological order.
Each preview includes a visual snapshot of the content, along with the scheduled date/time and the post’s status — showing whether it’s been approved or still needs approval.
A banner above each post indicates where it was generated from, such as Events, Specials, Menu, Promotions, or Post-Worthy Images — helping you quickly understand the purpose of each post at a glance.

If you’d like to narrow your view further, you can use the Filters option in the top right of the page to show only certain types of posts, such as Specials or Events.

💡 Taking a moment to review your upcoming posts ensures your photos, captions, and timing are all spot on before they go live.
Editing and Customizing Posts
You can make changes to your scheduled social media posts directly from the Instagram Posts or Facebook Posts page. Each editable section of a post includes a pencil icon, allowing you to easily update specific details.
Editing Date & Time
To change when a post is scheduled to publish, click the pencil icon next to the scheduled date and time.

Use the picker to select a new date and/or time, then click "Schedule" to apply your changes.

Customizing Captions
To edit a post’s caption, click the pencil icon next to the caption text.

Make any necessary edits, then click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

AI-Generated Captions
If you’re not sure how to word your caption or need help refining your message, AI Rewrite can generate instant caption ideas to help you save time.
With just a few clicks, you can generate alternative caption options and adjust them to match your tone before publishing.
To generate AI-powered caption suggestions:
-
Click the "AI Rewrite" button below the post to generate alternative caption options.

- The editor will display a list of AI-generated caption options on the right side of the post.

-
To apply a caption immediately, select the desired option and click Done.
-
To customize a caption, click Edit, make your changes, then click Save.
Changing the Image
To change the image of your post, click the associated pencil icon.

From there, you can either choose an existing image from your gallery, or upload a new one to update the post.

Approving Social Media Posts
At the top left of the Instagram Posts or Facebook Posts page, you’ll find the approval setting that determines how your posts are published.

-
Approve Each Post First — Each post requires manual approval before it’s published.
- Posting on AutoPilot — All generated posts are automatically approved and will publish at their scheduled time. No action is needed.
If Approve Each Post First is selected, that means that nothing will go out unless you manually approve each post using the green "Approve" button below the post preview.

Clicking Approve activates the post and schedules it to publish at the selected date and time.

Deleting Generated Posts
Inactive posts will not be published. If you’d like to remove a generated post from your list entirely, you can do so using the grey X button below the post preview.

When you click the grey X, a pop-up will appear asking why you disliked the post. Depending on the type of post, you may see several options to choose from.

To delete the post, make sure to select the "Remove the Post" option.
⚠️ Deleted posts cannot be recovered. If you need to create a new post, follow our guide on how to create social media posts in SpotHopper.
Social Media Fliers and Videos
Besides regular posts, SpotHopper also automatically generates fliers and videos (Reels/Stories) for you. To learn how to easily edit them, check out our Fliers and Videos Editing article.
