How to Select Post-Worthy Images?
First, make sure your Social Media Accounts are connected to SpotHopper so the platform can post on Facebook and Instagram.
Log in to your SpotHopper account and choose the "Post-Worthy Images" tab from the "Menu & Content" drop-down in-platform:
On the "Post-Worthy Images" page, the images that have been uploaded to your SpotHopper gallery will be divided into three categories:
1) Post-Worthy
2) Not Post-Worthy
3) Not Selected
Post-Worthy
Under the "Post-Worthy" category, you will see all of the images that have been marked as Post-Worthy. That means that the platform will use these images when generating automatic social media posts.
Not Post-Worthy
Those are the images marked as Not Post-Worthy. The platform will never use them when creating posts.
Not Selected
Under the Not Selected tab, you will see all the images that haven't been marked yet. Technically, the platform will not consider them when generating new posts, as it is waiting for you to put them under the right category.
All you have to do is click "Yes" to mark the image as Post-Worthy, and "No" if you think it is Not Post-Worthy.
💡 Fly through approving your 'Post-Worthy Images' by pressing the 'Y' or 'N' key to approve or deny images. The platform will automatically move image-to-image.
How Do "Post-Worthy Images" Posts Look?
In addition to your regular promotions and scheduled social media posts, the platform also gives you plenty of other perfectly-crafted posts, reels, and stories that will help you round out your digital presence!
If you go to your "Facebook Posts" or "Instagram Posts" page under the "Marketing" tab, you can see all of the posts that are waiting to go out. You will be able to distinguish the automatic ones thanks to the notification above each post.
Posts created using the Post-Worthy Images will look like this:
Adjusting the Frequency of "Post-Worthy Images" Posts
The more post-worthy images you have selected, the more posts the platform will be able to generate. This is especially important if you'd like to post more frequently and reach more people.
If you go to the "Facebook Posts" or "Instagram Posts" page under "Marketing," you will see a grey "Adjust Post Frequency" button in the upper right corner.
Clicking that button will open a menu where you can set your desired frequency of Post-Worthy Images posts:
The Frequency setting determines how often you want the platform to create posts about your Post-Worthy Images, but only on days you have no other posts scheduled through your promotions (custom or standard), events, or specials.
You can choose to post as often as 4-5 times a week, or only 1-2 times a month. Remember that if you do not have enough post-worthy images selected, you will not be able to have frequent posts as the content will be repetitive:
Depending on the number of posts you have scheduled, it may take up to a couple of weeks for the new frequency to become active.
Managing Post-Worthy Images
Once you go through your entire gallery and choose post-worthy images, the platform will have enough content to work with, giving you plenty of versatile posts regularly.
However, the more photos you upload to your SpotHopper gallery, the more images you will have marked as "Not Selected." Make it a habit to visit the "Post-Worthy Images" tab from time to time, to ensure that all of your professional-looking photos are added to the queue of automatic posts.
Once your Post-Worthy Image posts are generated, the next step is for you to review, edit (if needed), and approve. Then, you can reel in your customers with your incredible menu, venue, and other great offers!
